I am a DAD of two beautiful little girls, Madison and McKenzie. Their mom and I both have careers in the medical field. She is an ICU nurse and I work in radiology as a Computed Tomography Technologist. We balance our roles as full time healthcare workers and also full time parents.

The GORILLA DAD is a space for parents to collaborate by sharing stories, spreading  information, and promoting the empowerment of the Father. There are so many Dads that break down the barriers of the old stereotypes of fatherhood. No longer are we just bread winners that come home expecting dinner and sitting with our family for less than an hour a day. Our roles as Dad have become much more important with the change in todays society. Now as mom and dad both spend time in the workforce, Dads are stepping up all over and embracing their roles in everyday child care routines.  Gorilla dad is the mentality inside us. A mixture of strength, weakness, rage, and tranquility. My goal is to discuss real feelings and emotions involved within many different subjects such as: relationships, parenting, life events, healthy eating, working out, careers, cancer, addiction, and most importatly being a dad.
