Are you visiting or living in sunny Southern California and looking for the best places to go and see!

Here’s my list of the best things to do in Southern California!

San Diego… What do you think of when you hear the name of this beautiful city?

SUN. SUN. SUN.

San Diego is all about being outdoors and soaking up that SUN.

Something about 75* weather and golden rays just makes you wanna throw on some board shorts and flip flops.

Toes in the sand. Drink in your hand. Now that is how you do San Diego.

My favorite beach:

  • Carlsbad/Encinitas

Clean sand. Easy access to miles of beautiful beach. PIZZA PORT! Best pizza, best beer in all of Southern California. This area has a lot to offer.

  • Visit Temecula (wine country)

Visit my hometown! You will not be disappointed. This growing city is filled with fun places to enjoy! Sip some really nice wines in wine country. Have a cold brew at some of our 12+ breweries. There’s also Pechanga casino for gambling and entertainment. Take a walk through our old town and sneak into one of our craft cocktail speakeasies.

  • Breweries everywhere

San Diego is a sprawling area and you can find an awesome brewery in just about every corner. From Big name breweries like Stone, Alesmith, Ballast point. To smaller fairly unheard of tap houses. There is a ton of great craft beer waiting for you to enjoy. A few of my favorites are Duck Foot Brewing, Long Ship Brewing, and Burgeon Beer Company!

  • Downtown San Diego

There is so much to do downtown. Gas lamp district. Seaport village. Little Italy. Petco park.

  • Liberty station

This place is awesome! Walk around this old navy station turned new school enchantment. Beers and great food.

  • Torrey Pines

Torrey Pines has one of the most breath taking landscapes you will find. Cliffs touching the waves. Great hiking trails leading up hill and down trails to the sandy beach. Torrey Pines Golf Course is the site of The Farmers Insurance Open and you can play where the pros do on some of the most scenic golf holes in the country.

  • Mount Cabrillo monument (Point Loma)

360* views of the Pacific Ocean, Coronado islands, San Clemente island, and Catalina island. Turn from coastal views to eastern skyline views of Downtown San Diego. Look south and you can see Tijuana, Mexico. Cool lighthouse and trails to tide pools make this a great spot to see what Southern California is about.

  • San Diego Sea world

We love this place! I ask my kids what they wanna do today. First thing they always say is “Sea world”, we love all the exhibits and shows!!!

  • San Diego zoo and wild animal park

This park is awesome! There are a ton of hills! There are so many animals to see. The girls absolutely love it. They both serve full bar and great local craft beer!

  • Angel stadium and Petco Park

Baseball games in 75 degrees weather are such a great time! Both of these ballparks are great venues! Tickets are usually very affordable.
